The recommended tire pressure for the 2016 Hyundai Elantra iS33 psi for the front and the rear tires for all sizes. The size of the tires on the vehicle is 205/55R16 and 215/45R17 for the GT, 215/45R17 for the Limited and Sport, 195/65R15 and 205/55R16 for the SE and 205/55R16 for the Value Edition. Whenever the tire pressure is really wrong You should get a tire pressure monitoring system warning light. It is important to not overinflate the tires because then they can go through excessive wear. On the other hand the tires should not be underinflated because then they are less stable and have less traction. So it is important to keep the tire pressure at the recommended levels.
