The top speed of the INFINITIQ50 is 150 to 160 mph. The transmission is one of the most important parts of the vehicle. You will come into problems at some point. You may experience shudders. Hard shifts could come up and that is not good. There might be jerking. The gears may become stuck. The transmission may slip. If the transmission fluid leaks, that needs to be solved quickly. Delayed shifts can cause acceleration issues. The transmission fluid needs to be replaced every 30,000 to 60,000 miles. Along with fluid changes, terrible sounds will come from the transmission. Old transmission fluid will be awful to the ear. A worn out torque converter will cause a headache.

Dalen... Youre incorrect. The top speed of a q50 is 155mph. The sport versions may have more horsepower (but the speed limiter) is the same for all q50 models.

Incorrect. All varies on which model and none have 399hp. You got the red sport with 400hp? Maybe your confused and that has to be top speed faster than 155 bc i hit 155 in my ‘17 Q50S (silver sport)
I have a 2014 Q50 Hybrid imported from Japan to New Zealand which I was told is limited to 180 kmph and the speedo only goes to 180. It can get to 100 kmph in 5.6 seconds.

The vehicle does 155 miles an hour. I’ve been there multiple times it does not do 160.

My red sport (stock) hits 155 quickly and would clearly go faster if factory settings (what we used to call "governer") won't allow it. I'm told THAT can be tuned out and car will go much faster. I believe though that's the car is designed for 155 and problems could result within other drive train components if you push beyond 155mph. Punch it at 100 and it still takes off...FUN!
