The Toyota treustart battery date code is located on a decal on the battery and will tell You when to replace it. Getting a replacement of thiS-TYPE will cost You about 110 to 140 dollars from moSTStores. To put a new battery in You will first need to remove the old battery. To do this first remove the negative and positive cables. This will allow You to get to the bolts that hold the battery in place. Remove those as well and then You will be able to pull it up. The battery is quite heavy, so make sure You pull straight up and then move it out. Now put the new one down and bolt it back in, then connect the battery cables and You will be done.

Is it on top of the battery? I have the True Star84 and can't find the date to know if this is under warranty. I purchased the car back in April 2022

Toyota used to punch the month and year on the battery top decal when they SOLD it to you (for warranty purposes). Now they go by your purchase receipt. In your case, they might go by the stamped code on top - the beginning letter is the month (A = Jan, M = Dec), followed by one or to digit year (i.e. 5 = 2005 or 2015). Usually you won't find a working battery more than ten years old.

My battery is dead and when I tried to find the age of it to see if it would likely be “jumpstartable”, the top of it was so d***y that it covered the barcode # on top and the only other # I could find on top looked like the manufacturers part #. I didn’t see a date # anywhere on that battery and I checked all sides and top. The only side I couldn’t see was hidden by other car parts too close to that side. So, it is likely too old and dead to jumpstart, based on how filthy and lacking a visible manufacture date it is. Unless someone knows something that I don’t.
