The Chevy trouble code u1301 is a three-part DTC issue. It can mean that there is an issue with the brake system, the TPMS, or the steering wheel. This is because the code is measured by a delayed response to the ECM, and any of these systems can cause this to happen. These are all major issues, so You will need to take the car into the shop and have it looked at, as You will need to have them fixed. Repair costs will range from moderate to expensive depending on the actual issue. Brakes are the cheapest, while bad steering systems can be very expensive, assuming the issue is not caused by something like low fluid or old pads.

In my case, it was just the TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System) in one of my tires had gone bad.
