If You have a 2008 to 2017 Volkswagen Tiguan, the fuse location for Your headlights will be found on the instrument panel fuse box (straight out from where Your left knee sits). The left-hand headlight is fuse number 12 witH10 Amps, and the right-hand headlight is fuse number 16 witH10 amps. Check that each fuse is securely in place, and test Your headlights after to see if that was the problem. If they are and Your headlights still arent working, You can buy replacements for about $3 to $10, either online or at a local car parts store. To replace them, simply grip gently, pull, and put the new ones on by gently pushing into place.

2011 VW Tiguan I have does not have any fuse on the slot #12 and never had fuse and headlamp has been working fine until a week ago. I checked all the fuses to find no fuse blown. Replaced the bulb but still no low beam on both sides. Anyone has any knowledge of why? Maybe I replaced with extreme bright bulbs to cause shortage somewhere else? Very weird. Some says #12 at dashboard fuse box, others say 30A fuse in engine compartment fuse box. Who to believe?

The vw Tiguan headlight fuse location is located on the front of the dash panel, near the door.

Rick, did you ever resolve this? I'm having the same problem. To make matters worse, this morning i randomly started removing fuses to see they were blow, and immediately put them back from where i took them. Suddenly, now the car won't start. Any advice would be awesome....mattstole@comcast.net

Rick, was your issue ever resolved? I'm having the same problem, and also had no fuse in slot #12.
