You don't need to replace a timing belt in the 2010 Toyota Camry because it uses a timing chain rather than a timing belt. They did used to use a timing belt but in the year 2007, they fully changed over to the chain. The timing chain typically should last for the life of the vehicle, unlike the belt. There is not much difference between the belt and the chain except for the location of them and the material they are made with. The belt is located on the outside of the engine and the chain is on the inside of the engine. Since the belt is on the outside it is exposed to things and gets wore down and the chain isn't exposed to things and is meant to last.

The timing belt on a 2010 toyota camry should be replaced as a matter of regular maintenance. Toyota recommends that the belt be replaced every 60,000 to 100,000 miles.
