The 2005 Toyota Corolla is going to have several speed sensors on the vehicle. The wheels will have one located on the inner section above the brakes. You're going to need to remove the tires to access these ones. This vehicle is going to weigh well under 3000 pounds so You're only going to need a two ton jack for this task. Another speed sensor is going to be located inside the housing of the transmission. You will need to remove the outside cover in order to access it. A replacement speed sensor is going to cost between $20 and $40 each or if You need a full set for the vehicle around $150.
