You can find the mode door actuator for a 2000 Chevy Silverado truck under the glove box. You're first going to need to open the glove boxAnd then look at the sides of it. There will be a bolt on each side You'll need to remove. Then push inward on each side and now Your glove box should pop out. Once the glove box is off You're going to need to remove the lower panel section on the passenger's side. This will take a pry tool and some basic hand tools. A brand new mode door actuator will cost between $50 and $90 at moSTStores.

There are 4 door actuators on a 2000 silverado…so everyone is correct there’s one under the glove box, one above gas Pedal and there’s also 2 on the inside the dash that you can’t get to unless you tear the whole dash and radio, and etc out in order to reach them

It's possible you are all correct, as I'm pretty sure dual climate control set ups have one on passenger and driver side, where manual has one over the trans closer to the passenger side
