The oil pressure sensor for a 2001 Chevy Cavalier is going to be located under the hood of the vehicle. You're going to need to press the hood lever inside the vehicle on the driver's side and then open the hood and the safety latch when You get outside of the vehicle. Now look towards the back of the engine between the engine and the firewall on the right hand side You're going to see the oil pressure sensor. It will need to be unplugged before You can put a new one in. A replacement sensor is going to cost between $30 and $50.
