As the owner of a 2002 Chevy Tahoe, You may be needing to access the starter in Your vehicle, but are unsure where to find it. First, go to the front of Your vehicle, and open the hood. Use the available prop arm found on the passenger side of the engine bay to keep the hood secured. Now, look into the compartment, to the back of the engine. On the passenger side of the block, before the transmission, You should see the starter. If it is faulty, it should be replaced. This will cost You between $50 and $210.
