The 2004 Chevy Silverado's radio is powered through fuses located under the hood. Look on the right side of the engine bay, or drivers side, and locate a large black boxAgainst the firewall. Popping the cover off should reveal a fuse diagram and a "puller" that will help You test blown plugs and replace them. If no sound is coming from the stereo, check the corresponding green, 30 amp amplifier fuse in the upper right corner of the box. If the radio doesn't turn on or light up, consult the blue 15 amp fuse responsible for this function. Combined, these two plugs operate part of the radio and Audio system. Keep in mind Your radio can also fail if wiring beneath the dash has become disconnected.
