The radiator drain plug in a 2005 Chevy Tahoe can be found at the base of the radiator on the passenger side of the vehicle. This is where You will be able to drain the coolant from Your radiator and the rest of the cooling system. If You are going to completely change Your coolant this is the first place that You will need to start. I recommend buying a new washer whenever You plan on draining it so that it will seal up properly again and that can help prevent leaks from forming. You should change Your coolant about every 30,000 miles to keep it functioning well and to help prevent Your engine from overheating.
