The fuel pump reset switch for Your 2006 Chevrolet Impala is located on the passenger side, under the glove box, behind the top edge of the carpet. It's a small box that has an electrical pigtail going to it and a small plastic button on the top of it. If Your fuel has cut off for reasons other than an impact, like hitting a pothole or other sudden brake application, this switch can trigger. Simply push down on the reset button on the top to re-enable Your fuel pump to work.
