You'll find the speed sensor on Your 2007 Chevrolet Equinox located inside the wheel hub assembly; You'll see wires going to it, with a light green connector. The other end is a plastic barrel, held in with a single screw. Replacement cost is going to be around $37 for this, and it's very simple to go ahead and sort Yourself, foregoing the need of expensive labor costs. Some signs that this is failing are going to be that Your ABS light comes on, or Your ABS isn't working at all. Likewise, You might find that the traction control light illuminates and that You don't have traction control either.
