It's not fancy and doesn't have a sunroof but I love it. I'm hoping to drive this car for a few more years and maybe get 275000 miles out of it.
My husband gave me this car and bought a newer equinox. I have over 205,000 miles on car and it's still reliable. I get a few oil changes a year and justaintain it. I love it.

I recommend Chevrolet Equinox.
I have not had any problems with this vehicle since purchasing it used in 2012. I keep it maintained and it has been a great vehicle for the price. The only improvement would be better gas mileage. It does get the mileage per gallon as specified by manufacturer.

Overheating and service traction control and/or stabilitrackissues.
I've noticed that slot of people have been having trouble wit their Equnox's over heating. I think there needs to b a recall on the wires/connector that go to the fans. Most seem to have a short in them. So check this 1st if yours is overheating. Also if your "service stabilitrack" light comes on and it starts running poorly for no apparent reason you should check the throttle body and the O2 sensers. If they are d***y for any reason this seems to happen. It will throw you off at first because one seems to have nothing to do with the other but it does. It starts running poorly because it goes into " safe mode" to protect itself. Just wanted to throw this out there to save time and money for someone else.

It is easy to drive and very durable. The styling is timeless. Even with its age it still looks current.

The Chevy Equinox the most reliable and safest vehicles for my family.
The performance of the 07 Chevy Equinox is great. It drives smoothly, you do not really feel bumps in the road. As far as I can tell, this vehicle is extremely reliable. I wouldn't be scared to take it cross country. The Equinox has gotten my fiancé to and from work in Louisville, Lexington, Elizabethtown, etc. It is gotten us to and from doctor appointments with no problem. It has several features such as seat belt latch sensors, cruise control, radio controls on the steering wheel, shows how many miles until you need to get gas, gives warnings on the dash if the roads are hazardous. The Chevy Equinox is a pretty comfortable ride. The seats lay all the way back, the back seats slid back to have more legroom for back seat passengers. There's a lot of cargo room. It also fits 3 car seats in the back with plenty of room in between each.

The white beast: aka my Chevy Equinox.
I really like my Equinox. It rides great and it is very comfy! There is also plenty of room in the back for all your groceries plus some! It is a very reliable small SUV. I have had it for a little over 2 years now and have never had a problem. I even convinced my mom to get a newer one, so this year she traded in her vehicle and got a new Chevy Equinox. All in all the Chevy Equinox is one of the best vehicles in my opinion and from my personal experience.

It is a lot bigger than it looks from the outside.
There are a few things that have went wrong with the car that I wasn't happy with like the body control module went out. They put spark plugs in that cracked and they had a recall on. Other than that it has been a very reliable car. I love the size and there is so much room in the back for leg space. The back seat moves so you can have more leg space or have more room in the very back. It holds a lot of stuff if going on vacation.

Bad lift gate on all models of equinox.
The lift gate handle breaks and needs replaced and the heating core goes bad and the tire pressure is always going down handles good in bad weather the heat is not so good in cold months when the lift gate goes it don`t open and then the back windshield washer will not work and the fuse to lift gate gose it will not open.

The Equinox is a reliable SUV that doesn't sacrifice comfort or features at all.
It's a great compact SUV with a ton of cool features, including an aux port which is unusual for an older model vehicle like this. It handles smoothly, has held up well over the years, and has a nice, comfortable interior with plenty of room.

The stability rack system goes out.
There are issues with the windshield washer not spraying, even after changing the pump and fuses. The gas cap does not always seal. There are larger blind spots than other vehicles.

A few issues that I have had.
I have had the hatch back supports stop working. The key fob will not always come out of the ignition. The fuel pump has been replaced 3 times in 1. 5 years.

Chevy Equinox is a great family car
I'm a single mom of 2 kids and I love my car.. We drive 30 miles a day to school and back and then to work. My Chevy equinox has a had a few problems with the gas light causing a check engine light turning on but other than that my car is very reliable. The drive is nice and does an amazing job in the snow in Utah. I love the sunroof and leather seats.. There is a lot of space for even tall people to relax while they drive.. My next car I want it to be another equinox cause I've never been happy with a car as much as I am with this one

No problems has heated seats electric windows and all wheel drive. Seats 5 people and has a lot of space in the trunk for things like camping. The air conditioner works very well. Gas mileage is pretty good I don't know the exact mileage but I can drive a lot and not have to fill for like a week.

Reliable vehicle for years.
The reliability of my Chevrolet equinox has been great over the past 12 years. I have not had any major issues, just once the computer went out and locked the steering wheel. That has been the only major issue I have had. It's great on gas and comfortable.

I bought my car used in April 2018, I am pleased with its performance so far. It (being used) does have some (squeaks ) but everything else is good. Had everything checked out before purchasing (brakes etc) and everything was in excellent condition.

It's dependable as long you going to one place and back but if you plan on sitting in traffic. It overheats bad.
My car helps me to get to A to B but the car overheats constantly and the A.C doesn't. I thought it was just me having bad luck but unfortunately I talk to friend who has a similar cars and they have the same issues. I don't know if it is something with that make and model.

This has been a very reliable vehicle. It has required only routine maintenance. I have only had to replace brakes, tires, battery - nothing unexpected.

Reliability of 2007 Equinox.
Very comfortable, reliable, and drives smoothly. I drive it on average of 15 thousand miles a year and have yet to encounter anything faulty happening. The only things that I have needed to take this car in for is general maintenance for normal wear of parts.

Perfect car for college student.
The speed meter breaks once I hit a certain speed. It might just be because my car is an older model but once I hit 80, my speed meter will start shaking and will eventually work its way to 120 when I could only be doing 40. Eventually it works its way back down to 0 but it takes it a while to do so.

The perfect crossover vehicle.
Have had no problems and it's just about at 200, 000 miles. It seats four average size people comfortably. The only I don't like and it's just my preference the gas tank is on the passenger side. I prefer it on the drivers. The handling of it is wonderful I think it is the perfect crossover vehicle.

Not sure how the one owner prior drove the car but not happy.
I purchased the vehicle used. I have owned it for about 4 years. I did purchase the after market warranty and I am happy that I did. I have had to replace or fix so many things on it. The engine blew a year and a half after I purchased it with 120, 000 miles on it. I have had to take it in almost every other month after that. I have had to replace the rear end and a few different hoses and wires. It know has about 165, 000 miles on it and I try not to drive it because I do not trust that it will make it if I travel more that a day.

I have an Equinox with heated leather seats which I love. I also love the sunroof. It is very reliable and comfortable drive. Fairly good gas mileage as well. I really do not have any complaints regarding this vehicle other than back seats do not fold down completely flat.

A workhorse of a vehicle which you can drive for a long time.
Handling is phenomenal, to the point you can comfortably turn with one hand on the wheel as well as two. The vehicle is lightweight and can accelerate well. 2007 Chevrolet Equinox has ran reliably for 11 years, with no sign of letting up soon. One common problem with the model is that the key likes to stick when you go to turn the car off, often because the gear shift sticks in park, and the vehicle is registering the vehicle as still in drive. Rest assured, the car is actually parked, and it should just take a firm wiggle or two to the gear shift.

Dealer split cost of wheel bearings with me a few days after I purchased it,
Wiring issues; driver window won't work, some lights don't work, other than that it is good;?Has never failed me or left me stranded! It is reliable and still looks great when it's cleaned up. Needs brakes and gets good gas mileage. There are lots of these on the road right now: it's a good car!

My Chevy Equinox is on the larger end of the SUVs, which works well for me to transport storage items, furniture, or luggage when traveling. The interior is roomy. Our family is tall, and even the back seat gives more than enough room for people over 6'. I love listening to music, so having the station changer & volume on the steering wheel is so much more convenient and safe. I also do a lot of driving on a daily/weekly basis, and this vehicle gets good gas mileage. I can go about a week and a half on a full tank of gas.

Beautiful blue Chevy equinox
Has ac that works great, sunroof, AWD. It's the perfect blue I been looking for. The gas gage does not work and the speedometer does not work half the time. Gets good gas mileage. Has a small oil leak by the oil pan. Do regular oil changes and maintenance. I did go to put air in a tire few months ago and the stem broke off, cost me $120 to replace that. Also had headlight changed but not easy to get to so had to be done at a shop

It is a very easy to care for car with most of the basics, inexpensive too.
My car has been relatively reliable for the years I have had it, but it has had a major issue. It needed an entirely new transmissions after about 5 years but very few other major maintenances. The ac is always very cold but the throttle body must often be cleaned. It is been on many long road trips and lived in traffic-infested la, but still runs great.

One thing that I have noticed is that it's very expensive to have anything repaired on it.
For the most part our vehicle has been very reliable. However, when we purchased it I believe there were issues that were not disclosed to us. The comfort is great and has been very accommodating to our family.

Dependable and reliable family vehicle
Reliable and dependable vehicle! I've owned my Equinox for 7 years and during that time have had no problem at all with anything on my vehicle. It's serviced and taken care of and In turn it takes good care of me and my family. There is enough room for my family to use it to travel comfortably. I can even cart around a load of boys with baseball gear. With that being said, it still is not a 'mom van'. The design is nice and I love my vehicle.

The best part about my car is the fact that its very reliable wherever you go.
The breaks take a lot of wear and tear so allot of swapping. Depending on where you get tires they seem to flatten easy, as well as having oil issues with the fan belt. I've been driving the vehicle for almost a year now and I love it and it rides smoot. At times it's a bit at the start but once it gets going it rides smooth as a whistle.

The sliding rear bench seat was unexpected but a great addition.

It's sturdy, it's honestly been my favorite I've ever owned. I feel secure and safe driving it.
I like that it has a lot of room and isn't cramped, I like that it doesn't have a lot unnecessary tech that's distracting. It's good for all weather and seasons. No complaints other then the usual issues that come with an older car that's been used a lot.

Electrical work is terrible, but size and comfort of car is good.
Most of the electrical stuff has quit working: the CD player, the power seats, the seat warmers, the lock/unlock latch for the back hatch. It is very frustrating to me. The gas mileage is not the best. I do like the sunroof and the interior of the car is comfortable. It is a good sized car.

It is very spacious and comfortable.
I have no complaints about this vehicle. It gets me where I need to go with no issues. Very reliable car and I would recommend to anyone.

4-wheel comfort: comfortable, economical, spacious, and few repairs.
Chevrolet Equinox almost did not ask for repairs, it is very economic in gasoline and I love it because the armchairs are very comfortable and it has space to take things to the park, camping, fishing etc. It's great for activities outdoors and very spacious for large family.

I feel it's a pretty safe car.
I love that it has plenty of room but is not too large for the road. I love that the engine has pep and it handles the mountain road I love off of great.

2007 Chevrolet Equinox LT has great stability, very smooth ride
I have to say I love the Chevrolet Equinox mine is an 07 lil older but great car rides smooth and its roomy if you have young ones or maybe thinking about starting a family. Chevrolet Equinox great cars the newer equinox's have a little more technology with it and I do believe a little big bigger

The equinox is a very dependable vehicle to drive and is economical to drive
It is really good on gas. The inside of the equinox is comfortable. It is a reliable vehicle. We bought it used and just recently changed all for brakes and the water pump. We did have an issue with a sunroof leaking. Don't know if it was factory installed or someone had it put in at a later date. My husband caulked around the sunroof and the leaking stopped.
