The 2007 Chevy Silverado body control module is positioned below the parking brake on the driver's side of the dashboard. For the vehicle, the BCM is a very critical component as it helps relay and monitor car functions such as lighting, windows, protection, door locks, etc. Some of the signs of a bad or dysfunctional BCM are blinking dashboard lights, electronics such as windshield wipers stop working intermittently and slow acceleration. Depending on the standard and whether it is an OEM or aftermarket product, the price for a replacement BCM will range from $150 to $300.
