The idle air control valve is located on a 2008 Chevy Aveo and is located inside its throttle body. To replace or repair the air control valve, you will first need to remove the throttle body and then take the valve out, from inside the throttle body. The symptoms of a bad air control valve are illuminated check engine light, irregular idle speed, and most noticeable would be the stalling of the engine without idling at all if the valve fails. If you ever face the above symptoms in your car then head over to the mechanic and get your valve replaced. The replacement will cost you from $100 to $150 on average.
