The pressure sensor for the 2010 chevy cobalt fuel tank is part of the fuel pump assembly and is mounted on top of the tank or inside the tank. It is part of the network of evaporative emissions (commonly known as "evap") and reads the pressure in the fuel system to detect evaporative leakage, such as a loose or faulty gas cap.
