The 2010 Chevrolet Cobalt has a vehicle speed sensor that can be found mounted to the transmission. It is easy to find. First, stand in front of Your car, and open the hood. Next, look in the engine bay, to the left of the engine. The sensor is bolts onto the transmission, next to the axle output. This will be on the passenger side of the vehicle. If You find that the sensor has gone bad, it will need to be replaced. You can purchase a replacement at any automotive retail location, as well as trusted car parts dealers online. You can also allow a professional mechanic to replace it for You, although this will cost a bit more.
