The starter relay for the 2010 ford escape is positioned with other high-current fuses, inside the power distribution fuse box. The fuse box is located under the vehicle hood, in the engine compartment. Look to the right side of the battery on the driver's side. Lift up the front and rear tabs of the fuse box cover to remove the cover and expose the fuses. The starter relay is near the cooling relays and has the factory specified code number 30b.
