The 2010 Ford Focus' fuel pump relay will be found inside the engine bay against the back of the firewall on the drivers side of the vehicle. It should be plugged in on the far left side of the box. The Focus' FP is also powered by a 20 amp fuse installed on the right side of the box. The FP relay is responsible for controlling the electrical power to the fuel pump. Signs it needs replacing include a no start, stalling or a silent FP when the key is turned to the "on" position. If the relay has completely failed, a driver can crank, but not fire the engine because the pump is not switched on. If it is intermittently failing, the car may stall and then start later on.
