The 2010 Ford Focus' horn relay is responsible for its operation. To replace or trouble shoot a malfunctioning horn, look under the Focus' hood inside the engine bay. The fuse box is installed against the driver's side firewall and next to the vehicle's battery. It can be identified as a black plastic container. Unclip the lid to reveal a fuse and relay diagram on the underside. The HR is identified by "R2". To test, unplug, by wriggling carefully out of its slot and re-insert a new electrical connection in the "R2" spot. Signs the horn's relay is going bad include a non-functioning horn; noticing a burning smell from underneath the hood and/or clicking noises when the hood release button is pressed.

The fuse for your 2010 ford focus horn is likely under the hood or beneath the dashboard near the steering wheel.
