The 2011 Chevy Suburban fuel filter location is under the rear passenger side door by frame rail. Vehicle parts will eventually become ineffective. The fuel filter needs to be replaced every 30,000 miles or so. If it doesn't get changed, You will come across issues with the performance Having the fuel burn optimally is crucial to maximizing Your miles per gallon. Your gas tank needs to be in the best of shape. You will come into problems at some point or another. A faulty control valve may arise. The gas tank can become loose. The gas cap can become stuck and will be quite an ordeal to deal with. There may be gas leaks, which need to be looked into pronto.

The 2011 Suburban 1500 NOT HAVE AN EXTERNAL FUEL FILTER. YOU PULL THE F'IN TANK AND THE FILTER IS ON THE BOTTOM OF THE COMPLETE PUMP/FILTER/GAUGE SENDER ASSEMBLY. BUT NOBOBY DOES THIS…DUH!!!! IT’S NOT MEANT TO BE REPLACED UNTIL THE F’IN PUMP OR SENDING UNIT DIES.

The 2011 does not have an inline fuel filter, unless you have cut the fuel line and installed fittings yourself to install an inline filter. I looked my 2011 over for two hours yesterday, from tank to fuel rails, no filter, just the screen in the tank.
