The starter motor on a 2013 Chevy Impala can be found at the base of the engine near where the transmission meets the engine. This is an electronic motor that is used to start Your engine. When there is a problem with the starter motor then Your car will be unable to start. Usually You will hear a grinding or clicking noise as You try to turn over the car and that is a sign that there is a problem with the internal components in the motor and that it will need to be replaced with a new unit to get it working again. A failing starter is a pretty common thing and it can happen at any point in time.

The start for the 2013 chevy impala can be found next to the oil filter and the oil pan. It is just to the right of both of these.
