The coolant bleeder valve is located on the side of the coolant line closest to the passenger side of the engine compartment in a 2013 Chevy Malibu. If You have air or other debris that You have noticed inside the coolant line You can use the bleeding valve to allow it to escape so there are no air bubbles in the line. The valve if needed to be replaced will range from $15 for the air bleeder screw and $50 - $75 for the full assembly. Replacing the valve is not very difficult and can be done with the full removing and assembly in about an 1 hour. If the valve is not replaced it could cause coolant issues and overheating in the vehicle.
