The 2014Chevy Malibu blend door actuator can be found on the passenger side footwell behind the dashboard. It will be located on top of the heater core assembly. You will have to remove the dash to gain access to the actuator and can be a difficult job that requires some intensive labor to remove and replace. Some of the signs that you may have a faulty blend door actuator is ticking or clicking noise coming from the dashboard area. The cost for a new replacement part will vary from $20 - $35 depending on if its an aftermarket or OEM product. The cost from the dealership or an auto service shop for the replacement job varies from $250 - $300 including parts and labor.

There are two of these, one in each door. They are inside the door panel and you will need to take the panel off to get to them.
