The 2002 Ford F-250 diesel does not have a cabin air filter in the traditional sense. Instead of a paper filter it uses a mesh that filters all of the air that is coming into the HVAC system. This fitler does a better job of protecting the components of Your A/C system than a standard filter, but it is not as good at preventing dust and other allergens from getting into Your truck. I recommend that You check the mesh at least twice a year to make sure that it does not have any debris. A buildup of debris can severely restrict the airflow and lead to the AC system not working properly.

The 2002 ford f-250 diesel cabin air filter is located behind the glovebox or you can look under the glove box near the firewall on the back of the evaporator case.
