Repairs will cost but they are minimal.
I like the size and comfort of the vehicle. I also like the reliability of the vehicle. I do not like the fuel mileage and cost of repairs/maintenance.

One owner from 2002 until present.
This vehicle has been in my family since the day that it came off the factory line. We have used it every day since and it has never left us stranded even with 200, 000, 00 miles on it. The only thing that has been replace is the box inside the truck that relates to the lock and unlock feature on the keys.

It's a tough truck. It works hard for us. It's a big truck.
This truck helps with garbage runs...Grocery runs...The gas mileage is not the best but it does a lot of work for us.

What I like about my Ford pickup truck.
I have an f250. It's a 2002. It's 4 wheel Dr. It's a diesel. It has a lot of space. It has working air-conditioning and heat. It can seat 6 people comfortably. There's a lot of room in the cab for hauling stuff. It has a tractor supply toolbox called champion. It's the best Ford vehicle you can own in my opinion.

You can not get this motor any more because they do not make it
I love the truck and there is not anything that I do not like

One tough truck. Best truck ever.
Great truck one thousand seven hundred mile and still going strong. That says a lot. Very little mechanical issues just normal things like water pump a few leaks and fluid replacements. Pulled the family trailer throughout the 12 western states for great times.

Unbeatable. Unstoppable. Best diesel ever!
My f250 with the 7. 3 diesel has been outstanding! It has all the power and torque I need to haul and tow anything. It has been extremely reliable and dependable, and with 250, 000 miles it is still going strong. The crew cab provides plenty of space and legroom for family and friends. I have had no major problems and fully expect to get a million miles out of it.

Respect the 7.3 powerstroke diesel or stay away from them.
I love my truck. It has the power to haul anything or tow anything. I am a truck girl and find diesel is the way to go but if buying a ford the 7.3 diesel engine is the only way to go cause others are junk but the 7.3 will go for a million miles if maintained properly. No bad words I can say. Power strokes are where it's at and get any job done.

It's a 7.3 liter diesel truck, F 250.
Absolutely amazing truck, it's hard to find this. It has a 7.3 liter transmission in it. It's very reliable and seats are comfy, fuel is good and doesn't require to use def to clear it out. It gets 17 to a gallon on back roads and 15 to the gallon on the interstate.

It has a 7.3l diesel engine.
I purchased my 2002 Ford F 350 in October 2014, specifically because it had a 7.3l diesel engine. I had to have some seals redone, but it was to be expected. I have enjoyed driving it ever since.

Best truck made my Ford 2002.
The only problem I have had with my truck is the mileage gage. The truck is the best vehicle I have ever owned and does the job. It helps transport all my needs and can carry my trailer without any trouble. I have leather seats so they clean off really easily. I also had a sunroof installed and heat and cool seat features.

I have a 4 wheel drive f250 diesel.
Problems: gas hog, heat doesn't work great. Performance: excellent, never had any issues with the tranny or engine. Reliability: always start up in the cold, gets me from point A to point B. Comfort: very comfy seats, arm rests are in the right spot. Features: quite basic.

F250 trucks are reliable. It's fun to drive.
It's a very reliable truck, it costs a lot in gas but it helps us pull boat. It's very dependable. I feel very safe in the vehicle.

It is heavy duty long lasting reliable. But it uses a lot of gas.
We have had our Ford truck since 2002 It's been so reliable the best truck we have ever owned. Ford trucks are tough long lasting has not gave us any big issues all these years . We tell family and friends about our Ford truck

Seventeen years old and runs like a champ!
Even though the truck is 17 years old it has always delivered. We haven't had any mechanical issues. As long as the oil and fluids are maintained on a regular scheduled basis and the tires are rotated and balanced and replaced when necessary along with alignments everything runs smoothly. It's a great workhorse.

Workhorse / family time vehicle
Love the performance. Very reliable family vehicle. Comfort is good better than some worse than others. Most upgraded features, power everything. Only issue is an electrical problem. Windows and radio work part of the time. When radio goes off windows will not roll down

The vehicle is durable and built for hard work and difficult terrain.
I love the vehicle because it has lasted me for years and is very durable for the type of work i do.

It's huge and can run anyone off the road! Not really great on gas but she sounds fierce and other drivers get it my way
I love my truck. 12" lift kit on 37" tires. Nice and big makes me feel safe

Truck is a beast! Can it be any better?
This truck, with a little money for upgrades can pull trailers with ease. Some or these trailers exceed 20,000 pounds and holds speeds up steep hills with ease. With an exhaust brake the down hills are safe and enjoyable. The only downside is the transmission will eventually fail to handle all the power from the engine. When doing extreme towing be prepared for a transmission upgrade. Once done this truck is a beast.

Nice truck, can be used as family vehicle. Spacious and comfortable.
I love this truck because it is spacious, I can fit 3 car seats in the back no problem. It is comfortable. The fuel lasts a long time when it is on a full tank. It looks sharp still. It holds up well. Haven't had to do any work on this truck other than regular oil changes and stuff like that.

My big ford super duty diesel.
No problems but excellent performance in the 7.3 super duty diesel motor. The truck is 4 doors with leather seats and power seats. The truck also have power locks and power windows. The truck is four wheel drive and has bf Goodrich off road tires to make the truck tear through any terrain.

2002 Ford F-250 diesel that I use to haul a 5th wheel RV.
I have a 2002 F250 with a 7.3l diesel. Currently I am having problems with the transmission overheating, so I have installed an additional cooling.

Great basic truck for work, towing, or a large load.
My truck is very basic and has no frills, which I like because less can break. It performs well on the highway and I use it for road trips because it is big and I feel safe. I do not like how noisy it can be when travelling +65 mph. I also do not like the low fuel economy. The engine does provide plenty of power, even for the smallest of those available for that year and model. It has a large towing capacity and can handle a large load in the bed. The bed is very roomy and space is never a concern.

Lots of miles, passenger door only opens from inside.
The truck is grey and black lifted with a topper. The tailgate is broke, stays closed but don't try to open it. The 4 wheel drive Won't lock out all the way.

2002 Ford 1 ton XL with four wheel drive.
It is an f350 1 ton and we love the truck. It does everything about it. We take it to Texas pulling a new trailer. It pulls it great and rides well. Love everything about the pickup, color, interior and all. We have an English bulldog that we take with us and she travels well in the truck.

A big red ford. A truck that is taken a dating couple, to a married couple.
I really like my vehicle because it is very spacious inside. Plenty of room for two kids in the back. Very comfortable for two adults in front. I am not a fan of a diesel just because it takes so long to get going in the winter. That is if you can even get it started.

The Ford and why I like it and dislike it.
I love my truck, its big and roomy and it uses diesel. I can always use it to haul whatever we need to be moved or hauled away. Very durable. And the fuel lasts a good amount of time. We have had a few problems, but nothing to major and what sucks is how expensive it is to fix this truck.

My awesome 2002 Ford F-250
It is a reliable vehicle that has never left me sitting. Plenty of power, acceleration, and cargo area. The truck is honestly the best one I have ever owned. The fuel economy is decent for its size, and I have no complaints. The maintenance is easy to get done at almost any garage as well which keeps repair bills down. Great safety rating as well.

Buy a Ford truck it will last forever.
No problems at all. Starts great stops fine all the windows work has a sun run that works great. Heat and air work great, drives very nice. Tires are a bit costly but worth every dime. . Brakes work just fine. . Has a great ride. . The cab is big enough for 6 people. Fuel mileage is good.

It is has a 7. 3 liter diesel motor. It is the most reliable diesel motor.
My truck is 4x4 and it is safe because you sit higher than traffic and can see the road better in front of you.
accountCircle Lynn P on May 30, 2019
The Diesel engine has plenty of power. Being 7.3 liter, it is dependable
I love this F250 diesel pick up. It has plenty of power to tow and is dependable. As a 2002 vehicle, it has been very dependable

One great truck for my family for 16 years.
Great truck. No major problems I have 171000 miles and still going strong. A good portion it has had a 25 foot travel trailer hitched to it backside. Would I buy another one. You bet. It is a big truck. A crew cab long bed. Regular maintainer and a fuel additive are the key.

2002 f250.7.3.diesel. An awesome truck
I love it. Never had any problems other than oil leaks.I'm told that the motor will run forever.I just keep feeding it oil and have had no problems. The only thing I can say negative is that the driver's seat wears out quickly because, every time you get in or out it wears on the fabric and eventually it's down to nothing

2002 Super Duty Ford Truck
Truck has a wonderful transmission for its age and miles. It has 175,000 miles and shows no signs of slowing down. The interior is low maintenance. Exhaust and engine are both very quiet. Gas mileage is also great for as large of a truck as it is. Would recommend this truck to anyone.

Big green, mean, towing machine
The 2002 Ford F-250 is an extremely durable and high performing truck. It has great towing capability and I have never found any towing project too large for the truck. It drives very well with minimum road noise. The ride is slightly rough, but that can be suspected due to the tighter suspension. I really enjoy the 2002 Ford F-250
accountCircle Rebecca B on January 3, 2019
Nice to look at but here is some negative on it
I really don't care for the leather seats hot and sticky and fuel mileage when pulling a trailer is not good. It is comfortable plenty legroom rides smooth. Parts are kind of expensive nice truck to look at. The 5.4 doesn't have the power to haul up hill at all
accountCircle Hannah S on October 30, 2018
Reliable heavy duty vehicle.
The truck has great horsepower and makes for a great work truck. We use this truck to tow trailers and load with heavy tools and equipment. Extremely reliable vehicle. The only issue we really have is a leaky oil pan we are having issues remedying
