The Ford Fusion uses two blend doors, each situated on either side of the car. One can be found behind the center stack of the car. This is a small panel to the left of the driver-side temperature mix. The other can be found on the right side of the same panel, but inside the dashboard on the passenger side seat of the car. They are connected directly to the evaporator by way of the cars plenum box. The actuators are responsible for shifting the direction in which air produced by the HVAC units move. As a result, they work in tandem with the HVAC system to regulate the temperature of the car.
