The fuel pump relay in the 2004 Toyota Tacoma will be located in the main fuse box on the far right side of the engine compartment on the driver's side of the vehicle. It will be near the side panel close to the battery terminals and it is in between the air filter assembly and the battery. The relay will be in position one which is on the lower side of the fuse panel and to remove it You will need a fuse removal tool or a flat head screwdriver. If You replace this and it does not fix the issue You can check the next relay which is the MFI that could be causing You to not get power to the fuel pump. The cost for a fuel pump relay will range from $5 - $20 depending on the brand and quality of the product.

The "fuel pump relay"on a 2004 Tacoma 2.4L is disguised as the EFI relay. 2004 Tacoma is different from all other 1st Gen in this area.
