The location of the oil dipstick on the 2010 Ford F-150 is in the engine compartment on the driver side of the engine, near the center and right behind and below the oil fill. The oil dipstick has a circular yellow plastic handle and it is pretty hard to miss. To get to the engine You will need to pull the hood release which is located inside the vehicle, on the driver side and towards the foot area. To check the engine oil level with the dipstick You will first need to pull it out and then wipe it off with a towel/rag/paper towel. Towards the bottom You will see some dot markings, the lower dot is the lowest level and the highest dot is the highest level. Put the dipstick back in all the way until it can't go any farther and then pull it out and check where the level is, which should be in between those markings.
