The power steering pump on a Chevy Cruze is located on the driver/passenger side of the engine bay. The container is located right near the pump and is a clear plastic jug. To change the power steering fluid You will need to first locate the container, which will be under the hood near the window. It will be a clear plastic container. Using a pump You will want to extract all of the fluid from the container. Once the fluid gets low You will want to turn the steering wheel, all the way to one side, then all the way to the other. This will cause the fluid in the wheel to drain into the container, remove this as well. Once the container is dry You can go ahead and fill it to the full line, but not over. It will take a little bit for the wheel to loosen up, so try driving for about 20 minutes to make sure it worked.

All cruze’s from 2011 and up did not use hydraulic steering systems and instead came equipped with electric steering racks. You will not find a power steering pump or reservoir anywhere on one of these cars.
