The tow hook on a Toyota Camry is located under a panel that You can pry off on the front bumper. It is on the driver's side in the lower part of the bumper that is flat. Using a tow hook or eye is a much better way of towing Your vehicle. This gives You a solid connection to the unibody construction of the vehicle which means that You are less likely to damage anything pulling on it from this location. If You try to pull with a rope from anywhere else You may rip off body panels, or mechanical components. Unibody vehicles are all one solid piece of aluminum and do not have the ability to be pulled by the frame like a truck.
