Why are my 2008 chevy impala front speakers not working?

There are going to be two very common reasons that You'd find the front speakers on Your 2008 Chevrolet Impala don't appear to be working: One a forehead smacker, and the other just a typical issue. So, and don't feel bad if this is the problem, but have You checked Your front / rear balance control / faders I know, it's so simple, but You'd be surprised how often this is the actual problem. Did that fix it for You If not, the second common thing here is the wiring in the rubber accordion style conduits near the door hinges. Those can become compromised with time (especially if they're rubbing against the door) resulting in no sound coming out of the front speakers, but still working in the back. If it's not those, the next thing You should suspect is either the connectors having become loose or disconnected, or a failure of the head unit itself.

This is either damage to the speaker itself, or more likely something has gone wrong with the wire.
