When the 2015 Chevy Equinox windshield wipers are not working the first thing that You should do is take a look at the fuse to the wiper motors. If the fuse is blown or damaged it will cut the power to the motors so You will need to replace it to get them working again. If the fuse is fine then the next thing that You should do is check the wire harness at each motor. If any of these are loose then that could mean that the motors will not get power. The last possibility is just a failed wiper motor. These are simply electric motors and they can wear out over time and may need to be replaced.

The wiper motor is to strong . When heavy snow or ice is encountered the motor keeps driving and pops the linkage arm to disengage. This should not happen. I believe they GM put the wrong horse power motor in. It should stall or blow the fuse not cause distru

The winshield wiper motor is too strong . When the wipers meet heavy snow or frozen ice it pops off the linkage arm disengaging the wipers. The fuse should blow or the motorstall without causing disengagement of the linkage.

If the 2015 Chevy equinox is having an issue with the windshield wipers not working then the blades may be d***y or the motor is not getting power.
