The most common cause of Your interior lights not working on Your 2019 Honda Civic is a failed sensor. This car has a sensor sitting on the top center of our dash that senses light. If it isnt dark then Your interior lights will not come on even if You turn Your parking lights on manually. The next most reported problem was a blown fuse or a damaged switch. If there is a problem with the switch, they will not turn on while You are opening the door. You can tell if a fuse has blown by looking at the filaments visible in its little window. If You see where the fuse has burned through then it is bad.

The dome light in my Honda Civic 2019 hatchback would not go on automatically even after I moved the switch to the middle position. I went to the dealer and learned that the Map lights also had to have the position in the middle for the dome lights and the map lights to come on automatically when the door was opened.

If the interior lights in a 2019 honda civic are not working check the fuses to the lights in the vehicle.
