Why is my 2011 Chevy Equinox aux input not working?

There are several reasons that could potentially cause the aux input to not work in a 2011 Chevy Equinox. Before trying to replace the input Jack, check the fuses in the passenger compartment fuse boxAnd make sure none of them are blown. Refer to the fuse box diagram to locate the fuse and pull it out of the slot and hold it to the light to make sure the filament inside is not blown. If it is replace using one that has the same amperage rating. If the fuse is OK it's possible that the electrical connector going to the aux port is either damaged or unplugged. You will have to remove the plastic panels to get to the backside of the port to confirm this.
