When the 2013 Dodge Avenger traction control light is on it will usually indicate that when driving over rough terrain, or slippery conditions. It could also be a sign that Your wheel sensors have gone bad or are faulty. The traction system decreases the engine output to MINImize wheel spin if the car is trapped in harsh terrain such as snow or mud. Even when the gas pedal is depressed to the floor, the engine speed can be decreased. Switch the traction control system off if full engine power is required to free a trapped car. Push the ESP OFF button to turn the ESP system off. Push the traction OFF switch again or restart the process to activate the engine. The Seeindicator turns on. To turn on the machine, press the ESP OFF switch again or restart the engine. In the Starting and Driving section, see the traction control system.

The traction control button on the 2013 dodge avenger is located on the main console dash, behind the steering wheel.
