If Your 2012 Chevy Silverado touch screen is not working then usually it is a problem with the system being frozen. You will want to press and hold the volume knob in place until Your head unit resets. If Your screen is completely off and is not working You will then want to check the fuses. If one of the fuses to Your stereo is damaged then the stereo and screen will not turn on. If all of the fuses are fine then You will need to check the wiring on the back of the head unit to make sure that none of it is loose. If all of that is okay then You will likely need to replace the head unit.
