As the owner of a 2017 Chevy Cruze, You may find Yourself standing in front of Your car one day, unable to use Your key fob to remote start the engine. There are a couple of things that could cause this problem to arise. First, and the most usual cause, is a dead key fob battery. Second, You may not have all of the car doors and windows securely closed. You will need to check all of Your doors and windows, making sure each door is properly closed, and each window is rolled all the way up. If that doesn't fix the problem, You will need to change the battery in Your fob. You can purchase a new 3 volt battery at most retail locations, automotive stores, and online for between $3 and $12.

If remote start isn't working you should make sure all doors on the vehicle are locked and the hood is shut securely. If it still doesn't work you can try replacing the battery in your key fob.
