I'm going to assume You've got a more complete failure than just the camera being a bit blurry or something, so let's go through a bit of a checklist here and see if we can suss out why Your 2017 Honda CR-V's backup camera isn't working. First, do You have brake lights/backup lights If not, then it's possible the switch that is toggled when You shift (and also happens to cause the camera to engage) is faulty. This is a relative quick and cheap fix, so count Yourself lucky if that's it. There could also be a bad connection to that switch, though not the switch itself. This is a bit trickier to address. Beyond that, it's always possible the camera itself has failed. One thing to try is doing a factory reset on it, assuming it has power but no picture. If it doesn't have power, see if one of the cables that lead to it has become disconnected or otherwise compromised, and if not, check if the relay for the camera has blown.

Some common reasons for the backup camera in a 2017 honda cr-v to not work is a blown fuse, damaged wiring or even a damaged camera
