When Your Chevy Express power outlet is not working it is usually caused by one of a few different things. The most likely source of the problem is simply a blown fuse to the power inverter. This fuse can be found in the panel that is located under the driver's side of the dash. If the fuse is fine then I recommend that You disassemble the housing the outlet is in and make sure that the wiring on the back of it is all connected tightly. A loose wire can cause it to not work as well. If all of that is fine then the most likely answer is that debris got into the outlet and damaged it. You will need to replace it with a new outlet housing.

This is likely a blown fuse, so you will need to locate the fuse box and replace the fuse to fix it.

Most are correct, start w fuse, then check wiring. But some outlets will only operate while vehicle is running. So don’t forget to check that often overlooked first step.

The fuse is located in the engine compartment driver side.
