The rear wiper for Your Chevy Traverse couldve stopped working due to a blown fuse dedicated to the rear wiper. This fuse is located below the hood of Your vehicle, in the fuse block. The blown fuse may be a result of bad electrical flow of current. Test the current passing from this fuse to the rear wiper motor, if all the wires are supplying the motor with adequate power supply, then the fuse for the rear wipers may be due a replacement. If the problem still persists, then the rear wiper motor itself might be the culprit. Before getting into any deep troubleshooting, the first thing to do is make sure there isn't any object obstructing or holding the wiper blade in place.

The chevy traverse has a rear wiper system that can be turned off so first check to see if it is on. Check the fuse to make sure that is working properly as well.
