If Your civics screen stopped working, start by checking both the battery and the fuse. Disconnect the battery and leave it aside for a few minutes and then, reconnect it. If this doesnt solve the issue, check the fuse boxAnd follow the instructions in Your ownership manual to reset the fuse. If that doesnt work either, Youll need to pinpoint the exact cause of the malfunction. This is rather difficult to do, as it could be a firmware related issue, or a malfunction in a specific part. To narrow down Your options, Youll need to perform a full diagnostic of the vehicle. You can try checking the electrical wire connections going to the screen and see if any wires have come loose.

The infotainment system is in need of a reset when the screen turns black on the honda civic due to a software glitch.

I believe there is a flaw with the screens or done related part. The temporary black out condition occurred in my 2018 and In my 2021 CRV. My 2021 was later totaled and I got a 2022. Same problem. I think someone is hiding the truth.
