You're driving on the highway in Your Honda CR-V, when You attempt to set the cruise control. The problem is, nothing happens, and Your cruise control has stopped working. A couple of things can cause this to happen. First, You may have a faulty vacuum actuator. If You need to replace it, You can expect to pay between $50 and $140 for parts alone. Alternatively, You may be experiencing a broken link of cable that extends from the actuator to the throttle. If this is broken, it will need to be replaced. You will pay between $10 and $24 for parts. If You choose to have it replaced by a mechanic, You will pay an additional $50 to $140 for labor.

I had this problem with a 2018 CRV. It seems obvious now but, there is a button labeled βmainβ on the steering wheel. It turns the cruise control on/off.

Cruise control problems on the Honda CRV can be caused by a blown fuse, bad vacuum actuator or vacuum hose damage.
