If Your INFINITI QX60's power liftgate is not functioning there are several simple reasons why this may be so. First consult Your owner's manual for the power hatch's fuse. Sometimes, a blown fuse will disable Your vehicle's trunk or hatch from opening. Secondly, a common problem experienced among QX60 owners involves the location of their cabin's electric liftgate's switch. The button to turn off the rear door's power is located under the driver's knee on the INFINITI's dash and it is sometimes accidently activated when it is bumped. Alternatively, Your intelligent key fob may need its battery replaced, the door's latch is broken or the motor is faulty. If all else fails, perform a reset of the INFINITI's gate if You can still open it conventionally by following these steps. Open the hatch with the button on Your intelligent key or use the switch. Pull the liftgate down, manually holding it in position while depressing the switch located on the door. The system will beep three times and the liftgate should be reset and perform correctly.

Your INFINITI QX60 power liftgate not working could be caused by a blown fuse or Power Door On/Off switch being off, it is located near you knee in the driver seat.
I've got a 2015 QX60 we bought used with 101,000miles on it. The liftgate worked for a couple days and now it won't open electronically or close electronically. We can flip off the power button and open it manually but the power lift gate doesn't work at all. At first it worked powering down for a while but now it Powers down halfway and then stops and goes back up. Any ideas what's causing the problem? I'm thinking it's a liftgate control module issue or the lift cylinders need replaced. Any advice would be helpful

My 2019 qx50 tailgate hinges were bent. Dealer said they’ve had this issue numerous times. Required new hinges then liftgate had to be aligned at body shop Was told Infiniti has no clue what causes the issue

It will open if car is on only,if car is off it won't. I remember it used open even if car was off
Jaden - did you ever get final resolution on this issue. I have a similar issue - we have a 2015 QX60 we bought new that now has 110K miles on it. The liftgate stopped opening. We can flip off the power button off and open it manually but the power lift gate will not open it. Once it has been manually opened I can flip the power button back on and it will either close the first time or close 2/3 of the way and open back up and then the next time it will close under power. I think this indicates it is not a fuse problem. I took it to the dealer and they said the spindles (the two hydraulic lift arms) are worn and need to be replaced for $2,600. They recalibrated it and it worked in the service parking lot so I thought it was fixed but then when I returned home it was exactly back to same problem above. Any advice appreciated.
I have a 2014 infinity qx60 and I can’t get my liftgate to lock what can i do

Hey Jayden check the fuse #2box it’s the triple 404040 green combo pack unplug and put back Maybe it comes back to life: you can get replace from Nissan or Infiniti. PN 24370-C991B
@Mike did you ever get a resolution on your vehicle? I have a 2015 QX60 with the exact same issue. The liftgate cannot power open, but if I manually open it, I can use any of the buttons to power close it.
If your lift gate just stops working, and will no longer open via the fob, button inside or lift gate exterior button. Try this solution. Disconnect the negative terminal on your car battery. Wait 15-20 min. Then reconnect it. This will reset the lift gate. Then you should be able to open it again. It worked for me. Hope this helps.
My lift gate opens with the button in the car and with my key fob but not with the button on the lift gate? 2014 QX 60 Infinity

Was able to resolve the issue after the fuse reset from another video watched did not work. Open the latch and do the manual open like the video shows you will need a flat head screwdriver to open the compartment that is on the drunk door.. Then manually lock it from the internal latch at the bottom of the door... Go back in to the manual lock in the compartment and unlock it again. Then press the button on the trunk and that resets it.
I have a 2019 QX50. It has this same issue. The lift gate will stop working randomly. Its usually months in between. When this happens none of the normal ways to open it will work. Neither the key fob, button inside or outside will work. After like 4 visits to the dealer, I grew frustrated with this. They had no "real" solution. The solution I found on another forum is this. Disconnect the negative terminal on the car battery. Wait 10-15 min, then reconnect it. This should reset the lift gate, and you should be able to open it again. This worked for me, and I hope this helps you as well.

2019 Infiniti QX50. Same thing happened to me several times. Lift gate becomes unresponsive, a just wont work. I dont know what causes it. I found a solution on another forum that worked for me. The solution is to disconnect the negative terminal of your battery. Wait 15-20 min. Then reconnect it. After this the lift gate should work again. This worked for me. Hope this helps.

My 2019 QX60 hatch was not working! It had no power! Read possible solutions (fuse- power switch on by left drivers knee( my car had no such switch)! The switch on the open hatch meant to close the hatch ended up needing to be held for several seconds until it beeped! This actives my hatch again! Hope this helps! 🌈

Why when i lock my car, you can go to the trunk of the car an open it. The liftgate is not locking when the car locks. Qx50 infinity.

Both my wife’s and mine quit working. Her’s is a 2018. Mine a 2019. Not fuses or switch. It is a sensor. A very expensive sensor. These cars are not good. Lots of little issues that are very expensive to fix. Not a premium car. Won’t ever buy one again
Jaden - did you ever get a resolution? I have a similar situation. I have a 2015 QX60 bought new that now has 110K miles on it. The power lift gate stopped opening. I can flip off the power button off and open it manually but it will not open under power - lift gate button, interior button to left of steering wheel, key fob button - none of them work. Once it has been manually opened I can then flip the power button back on and it will either close the first time or close 2/3 of the way and open back up and then the next time it will close under power. I think this indicates it is not a fuse problem. I took it to the dealer and they said the spindles (the two hydraulic lift arms) are worn and need to be replaced for $2,600. What is frustrating is that they were able to recalibrate it and the power lift gate opened and closed under power in the service parking lot so I thought it was fixed. But of course then when I drove home 15 miles from the dealer it was exactly back to same problem above. Any advice appreciated.

Jaden - did you ever get any more clarity on the issue? I have the same exact issue....2015 QX60 with 110K miles. Lift gate can open manually but not powered. It is not the lift gate on/off power switch it is something else. The dealer says the spindles need to be replaced and that will be $2500. Not worth it to me, I'll just open in manually. I have not checked the fuse but will try.
