If the remote start system is not working in Your Jeep Grand Cherokee the first thing that You should check is the battery in the key fob. If this battery is dead then Your fob will not be able to communicate with the receiver in the SUV and tell it to turn on the car. If that battery is fine, or You just replaced it then the next thing to check is the hood latch. The car has a safety feature that will disable remote start when the hood is open in case someone is working on the engine. This will stop the fob from turning it on and potentially hurting someone. If neither of those work then I recommend letting Jeep inspect the body control module to make sure it is functioning as it controls all those features.

The 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee remote start may stop working due to a dead key fob battery or car battery, or dead starter

I had the same issue and it was the car battery going bad. Ignored it and battery finally died. New car battery and auto start works fine

Mine worked flawless for 4 years and hasn't since.. But things to check 1. Fob battery low 2. Engine light is on 3. Less than 1/4 tank of gas 4. Low vehicle battery (mine worked for a few months again after new battery) 5. Low tire pressure, dumb reason, but basically any light on your dash is on, remote start won't work

Not an answer but my symptoms. It won't remote start, lock/unlock, open tailgate or set off the panic feature. Fob battery was replaced july/august timeframe. When i get to work, after it has been running ~45 minutes, they all work fine.
