If You are wondering why the USB port is not working on the Toyota Yaris, I can give You a few reasons. The most common reason for the USB port not to work is due to a blown fuse. Yes, that's right, the USB port can stop working altogether if the fuse blows. Luckily, replacing a fuse is super easy and takes less than a minute. Another reason for the USB port not to work is due to damaged or corroded wiring. Sometimes throughout the life of the car, the wiring gets old and it needs to be replaced. To replace it, make sure a professional does it for You.

USB port issues on the Toyota Yaris can be caused by a bad USB fuse.
It depends on what you are plugging in. The USB port will not recognise USB memory sticks over 32GB as these are not formatted in FAT32. Mirror link is also an issue with this model as it only seems to communicate with earlier phones (i.e samsung S3 or ealier). There are 3rd party solutions available if you look around the web.
