If the Ford F-150 is making a squeaking sound when You turn then the number one reason is low power steering fluid. To change the power steering fluid You will need to first locate the container, which will be under the hood near the window. It will be a clear plastic container. Using a pump You will want to extract all of the fluid from the container. Once the fluid gets low You will want to turn the steering wheel, all the way to one side, then all the way to the other. This will cause the fluid in the wheel to drain into the container, remove this as well. Once the container is dry You can go ahead and fill it to the full line, but not over. It will take a little bit for the wheel to loosen up, so try driving for about 20 minutes to make sure it worked.

One reason you might hear a squeaking noise on a ford f-150 while turning is potentially a wheel bearing going bad, and could cost between $218 and $244 to repair.
