If Your Chevy Cruze has a battery saver active message on the dash and will not start it is usually a sign of a problem with Your vehicle's charging system. The most likely problem is that there is something wrong with Your battery. I would suggest trying to jump start it and see if it will run then. If after a jump start You still have the battery saver error message then the most likely problem is with the alternator. It likely has a bad voltage regulator on it and is not charging Your battery at the full 14.4 volts. You can always use a multimeter or a load tester to determine which of the electrical components is the culprit when there are battery problems.

If the battery saver active light is on in your chevy cruze the most likely problem is related to the alternator not charging properly.
